Which motorcycles does the BS-YBR125 fit?

Yamaha YBR125, JYM125, YB125 (rear drum)(2005-2024). Send us your frame or engine number and we re-check the match before production.

What are the MOQ and lead time for the BS-YBR125?

100 pairs per order, 15-30 days production time. Trial orders and mixed containers are possible for a first cooperation.

What is the warranty period?

All MOTOKS products come with a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects. If you encounter any quality issues, please contact us for replacement or refund.

Do you offer samples before bulk order?

Yes, we provide samples for quality evaluation. Sample shipping costs are covered by the buyer, which will be deducted from your bulk order payment.

NAO or semi-metallic lining — which should I stock?

NAO for commuters and a general aftermarket range: quieter, gentler on the drum and predictable when cold. Semi-metallic for loaded work bikes, hill routes and repeated hard braking, where heat resistance matters more than drum life.

Can I fit standard shoes to a worn drum?

No. Once the drum exceeds its wear limit the shoe arc no longer matches the drum surface, pedal travel grows and braking becomes uneven. Replace the drum, or ask us for an oversize arc (+0.25 or +0.50 mm) if your market prefers that route.

How to Choose This Brake Shoe Set

A drum brake shoe is matched by three numbers: drum inner diameter, shoe width and lining thickness. The anchor type — single leading shoe, twin leading shoe, or cam-and-pin — then decides whether the set sits correctly on the backing plate. Measure the drum at three points and take the largest reading: worn drums read oval, and a set matched to the smallest reading will drag.

Non-asbestos organic (NAO) lining is the right default for commuters and a general aftermarket range — quieter, easier on the drum surface and predictable when cold. Semi-metallic lining handles heat better for loaded work bikes and hill routes, at the cost of more drum wear and slightly more noise.

Confirm Before Ordering

Measure the drum inner diameter at three points and compare it with the maximum stamped on the drum — most drums allow +0.5 to 1.0 mm before replacement.
Confirm shoe width and the outer arc diameter of the assembled set; a 2 mm difference in width will not seat in the drum.
Identify the anchor layout: single leading shoe, twin leading shoe, or cam-and-pin. The pin and cam diameters differ between them.
Send the OEM number, or the bike model and year. The same engine family often uses two different drum sizes across markets.

Ordering and Quality Control

Minimum order: 100 pairs per reference; several references can be combined in one shipment.
Samples: Sample sets are available so lining thickness and arc fit are checked on your own drum before a production run.
Lead time: 15–30 days after deposit, express options for urgent restocking.
Quality control: Lining thickness, arc radius and bond strength checked per lot; friction coefficient sampled batch by batch.
